About The Author

Bill Miller is an Elder Law and Estate Planning attorney in Alabama at Adams Miller, LLP. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. He then earned his law degree from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham. Bill has been practicing law in Anniston for 23 years.

He spent the first few years of practice handling litigation matters. Over the past several years he has focused his practice on helping families dealing with estate planning, elder law issues, Medicaid and helping people protect their assets from the devastating costs of long term care. He has authored a book on estate planning in Alabama and co-authored other guides on Medicaid qualification, help for caregivers and the common mistakes people make in estate planning.

He has served on the boards of various local charities and is a member of National Association of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Alabama State Bar. Bill is also a VA accredited attorney who helps veterans get VA Pension benefits.

In his spare time, he likes spending time with his family, playing golf, kayaking and reading. He lives in Anniston, Alabama with his wife, Kelly.
